Christer Myrberg began his journey in Mashiko, Japan at age 20, working as a journeyman potter across Japanese potteries for five years. He later moved to Canada and now maintains a full-time ceramics studio, influenced by the Mingei movement and Song, Korean Goryeo, and Yi dynasty traditions. EMPTY VESSELS focuses on large forms, jars, and bottles in shapes that resonate with the past eras he admires.
