About the exhibition
Two concurrent exhibitions at Burnaby Art Gallery. "Arts Alive: (de)Construction" (lower gallery) features work by secondary students responding to themes of physical, ideological, political and emotional deconstruction, including paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs, in its 44th collaborative year with SD41. "Artist Apprenticeship: Realizations" (upper gallery) presents students' work inspired by the City's Permanent Art Collection and the theme of transmutation, now in its 18th year.
